Good day,

Hope you are enjoying the summer… we’ve just had a great weekend at Truck Festival followed by a brilliant day at Tingestock and we are now settled back in the clubhouse to hatch our new plans…

Erin Rae and the Meanwhiles release “Soon Enough”

We are delighted to have Nashville based singer-songwriter Erin Rae on the label and the beautifully crafted “Soon Enough” is the perfect our album for the Summer. But don’t take our word for it here’s what the press have to say:

Cale Tyson set for UK return

Cale and the band are back in the UK this November following the brilliant reception of recently released album “Careless Soul”. The short tour takes them all the way up to Stornaway as they complete their first Scottish dates and on the way they take in Winchester and Leeds but their first stop is at London’s iconic Borderline on Sunday 6th November.

Cale will be joined by our pals, one of the UK’s best-loved country-rock bands, The Redlands Palomino Company, alongside some very special guests. Bonanza and Sons provide the tunes and it’s going to unmissable. Tickets at just £12 are here

All the details for the full tour are here

The Redlands Palomino Company, who are in the middle of recording the eagerly awaited 5th studio album, can also be seen playing at Come Down and Meet The Folks’ 20th Birthday party this Sunday at The Apple Tree in Clerkenwell – you’ll find us at the bar!

Case Hardin on the road again

Another band working their way up to Scotland are Case Hardin. Armed with fresh copies of the incredible “Colours Simple” the guys set off next week with their new live show that at times sounds huge with the addition of new keys and Pete taking to the telecaster before stripping down to a bluegrass format for the more intimate moments – if you get a chance to catch them they are in the form of their lives. All the dates here: casehardin.com

Don Gallardo's "Hickory" gets worldwide release

A year after Clubhouse released Don's "Hickory" in Europe we are now really pleased to be able to tell you that it has now received a full, worldwide release. To celebrate Don has released "Diamonds and Gold" as a single with a brand new video that has been featured on Rolling Stone's website

For the song's video, Gallardo and his band set up shop at legendary Music City club Exit/In, where artists from Neil Young to the Ramones have performed since the venue's inception in 1971. (It also plays a key role in Robert Altman's 1975 opus Nashville.)

Good to luck Don, we hope to see him this side of the pond very soon.

Would you have this man in your house?

Paul McClure is in the midst of planning a full band tour with his Local Heroes but in the meantime he embarks of another run of house concerts – no venue to big, small or strange.  Get in touch with the man himself, you almost certainly won’t regret it…

Meanwhile head over to The Dreaming Spires site to find out about upcoming dates at both The Windmill and The Borderline and a full European tour with the awesome Austin Lucas. Also out and about, as they always seem to be, are The Rosellys, who are currently playing host to their good friends from Texas The Lavens, before they head off on a huge US tour at the end of the summer, Hardest working band on the scene… therosellys.vpweb.co.uk

And finally… We have a new Instagram account, if you are that way inclined, come and find us @clubhouse_records_uk

That’s all for now, stay in touch and see you at one of these great shows…
