Clubhouse Newsletter #20

In the last couple of weeks we’ve celebrated our 3^rd birthday (we had no idea until our good friend Paul McClure mentioned it!) and we’d like to thank you all for your ongoing support and enthusiasm, we’ve got loads more to come and we are looking forward to meeting a few more of you along the way!!

So here’s what’s been happening since last we spoke…

Leeroy Stagger and Troubadour Rose sign to Clubhouse!

 We couldn’t be more excited to announce two new additions to the Clubhouse stable…

Canada’s Leeroy Stagger, who’s in the UK throughout July on a 20 date tour showcasing his roots rock and roll, has joined us to release his breathtaking 8^th studio album, “Truth Be Sold”, on 4^th June 2013. Wood Festival

We can’t wait for the simply brilliant Wood Festival; not only is the line up amazing (too many hi-lights to list) but we’ve been asked to reconvene our tribute to Bruce Springsteen’s “Nebraska”, with all 10 acts from the London show appearing at Wood to run through the entire album once more. For those of you that missed it the first time it really is a fantastic event and will make for a great evening.

“Little Copper Still” by The Cedars full physical release and launch party on Monday 8^th April

 The Cedars debut album “Little Copper Still” has been receiving a host of great reviews and will be available in all good record shops from this Monday. We are so glad the band are getting the attention they deserve so why not come and celebrate with us on the 8^th April at Soho’s Madame JoJo’s where the band will play a full set supported by Paul McClure – you are all on the guest list, just let us know you are coming and send us the names of any of your accomplices!

 Friday 5^th July: Maverick Festival in Suffolk opens it’s doors on the Friday evening with a Clubhouse stage at The Peacock Café that promises to kick-start the festival in style. Saturday 13^th July: Tingestock returns! Our favourite promoters; Empty Rooms Promotions, are once again holding the annual micro-festival and this year it features Leeroy Stagger, playing the UK with a full band for the first time in years, alongside the equally impressive Case Hardin, The Redlands Palomino Company and Troubadour Rose.
