Clubhouse Newsletter #24Posted 13 years ago by KatieClubhouse Newsletter #24 Hope this finds you well on a crisp afternoon? It’s been a while since our last newsletter but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been quietly working away at the Clubhouse to bring you more musical treats, so here’s the latest news…. Independent Label Market On Saturday we’ll be spending the day at Old Spitafields Market, EC1, running a stall at the Independent Label and Brewers fair! We can’t wait to share a whole load of special offers and freebies and a range of Clubhouse acts will be “singing and signing” throughout the day. It’s totally free and there are 80 other labels joining us as well as a range of London’s best brewers – beer and music? Sounds great! Come and say Hi and pick up your free, Ltd edition Clubhouse badge! https://www.facebook.com/independentlabelmarket Leeroy Stagger opening shows for Steve Earle! Great news, Leeroy has been offered the chance to support his long time hero, Steve Earle, for a run of three dates early next year in Chicago, we are thrilled for him and sorely tempted to make the trip! Leeroy’s album, “Truth Be Sold”, was truly one of our musical highlights of 2013 – if you like the same music as us treat yourself to an early Christmas present now: http://tinyurl.com/l522zhv Troubadour Rose release “Labour of Love” on 9th December Our favourite folk trio, who have scored the most impressive stack of reviews you are likely to see for recent album “Find An Arrow”, are releasing stand out track, “Labour of Love” as a digital only single on 9th December – it’s a great introduction to the band if for some inexplicable reason you don’t love them already, check out the video: http://tinyurl.com/pofq2wo Case Hardin at “Come Down and Meet The Folks” If you don’t make it to Spitafields this Saturday, then fear not, you’ll have another chance to buy us a seasonal drink at the Apple Tree, Clerkenwell on Sunday 8th December where we will be enjoying Case Hardin who are playing with the Vagaband at the legendary “Come Down and Meet the Folks”. http://www.comedownandmeetthefolks.co.uk/ The Dreaming Spires on the Road with Danny and The Champs….. Don’t forget The Dreaming Spires are on tour with Danny and the Champs right now.
