Clubhouse Newsletter #27Posted 12 years ago by KatieHello Clubhousers, Let’s get straight down to it as spring has well and truly sprung and it’s a busy old time in the Clubhouse… The Clubhouse Sessions The Clubhouse Sessions showcase exclusive acoustic performances from your favourite Clubhouse Records recording artists. Each act performs some of their live favourites, brand new material and a few choice covers in stripped down acoustic arrangements. For the first sessions we filmed Case Hardin, Paul McClure and Robin from The Dreaming Spires having fun and making some great music. Check out these films on our You Tube Channel and share your favourite clips with friends:
‘The Rutland Troubadour’ Paul McClure has travelled the length and breadth of the country over the last couple of months with a unique tour promoting his critically acclaimed album ‘Smiling From the Floor Up’. Paul has been playing a series of house concerts, bringing his songs and stories into people’s homes and the most intimate of settings.
Hear Paul talking about his album and tour in this short film: Paul McClure EPK
Paul is booking a new tour for the June/July. If you want the Rutland Troubadour in your living room then get in touch now! Contact Paul
We were bringing it all back home this Record Store Day and the Clubhouse Rollin’ Review stopped off in our home town of Amersham for a full day of live music and shenanigans, there’s some great photos of the evening’s events featuring The Redlands, The Dreaming Spires, Paul McClure and Case Hardin in our gallery. clubhouserecords.co.uk/gallery
To mark the occasion we released a very limited edition, 7 inch, premium quality vinyl E.P. featuring exclusive previously unreleased or alternative recordings from all four of the bands that played on the day. We have just a handful of copies left via our site and they are for sale on a first come first served basis at only £5. Don’t miss out: Record Store Day Ltd Edition 4-track EP (7" Vinyl)
With the release of their brilliant new album ‘Broken Carelessly’ The Redlands Palomino Company are well and truly back. The album is undoubtedly the band’s best yet and it’s rightly picking up the plaudits it deserves.
