A Bonanza of stuff from The Dreaming Spires…..

The Dreaming Spires new digital-only EP, "Darkest Before The Dawn", is out now and contains over 16 minutes of new music. Why not treat yourself at iTunes, here.

A few weeks ago the band recorded a brilliant Under The Apple Tree session at "Whispering" Bob Harris' home studio. Here are the first fruits, a live version of another of the EP tracks, “The House on Elsinore” - http://tinyurl.com/lyfsk4y.

It's just about the last glimpse you'll get of drummer Jamie as he's moved to California! The band would like to thank him for his work on the EP and also on the new album, which comes out next year. Vinyl fans should note, the EP tracks will feature as bonus tracks on the album, which will be a DOUBLE VINYL! (we are really excited about this) and will also include a code for downloading all the tracks. Pre-order and tour news soon!

Meanwhile, they have a couple of things coming up in London with new/old drummer Mike back on the drum stool.

Tomorrow (Thursday) the ‘Spires are at The Lock Tavern in Camden for Bonanza & Son's "Countrier Than Thou" club. It's free to get in. You can hear the interview and acoustic session we did for Bonanza & Son's radio show here.

On Tuesday the 9th December they play the Bucketful of Brains Christmas do at the 12 Bar Club on historic Denmark St, and their final show of the year will be the annual New Year's Eve lock-in at The Rusty Bicycle, Oxford.

A Christmas outing for the Redlands….

On Saturday 14^th December The Redlands Palomino Company make a rare appearance in London at Clerkenwell’s Apple Tree for the legendary “Come Down and Meet the Folks”. In support will be the lovely Rosellys - it’s a full band show for both acts and will be a great way to kick start the festive season! Not to be missed.

Cale Tyson dates announced!

While we are still being overwhelmed by the press and radio response to Cale’s first EP release with Clubhouse Records UK and Irish dates have been announced for next year – there’s a lot more to come from this fella and new music and new gigs to be announced in the new year, but you can see the first set of dates now on the Big City Lights website: http://www.bigcitylightsuk.co.uk.

The Rutland Troubadour’s never ending tour….

Paul McClure is now planning his February/March/April tour with a string of interesting dates already in the book.
