Clubhouse Newsletter #33

Hello,

What a great summer – we had a brilliant few weeks meeting everyone at the various festivals, not least playing with the Clubhouse All-Stars at Maverick and Truck.

Tours by both Don Gallardo and Cale Tyson were a great success, we signed The Rosellys, The Dreaming Spires were on national TV and Paul McClure and Case Hardin completed brand new albums!!

But here’s what’s going on right now…

“The Granary Sessions” by The Rosellys is OUT NOW and the band have been playing a string of live dates and winning new fans wherever they go. There are loads more gigs in the UK and the USA still to come in the next couple of months – check out their website for more details:  The Rosellys

The album, co-produced by Alex Elton-Wall from The Redlands Palomino Company, is receiving lots of support from the radio and wracking up some incredible reviews. Get along to the Clubhouse online shop now and see if you can still get one of the ltd signed CDs with accompanying branded guitar pick and key ring!

But don’t take my word for it, here’s what the press are saying:

"The Granary Sessions is an album of sweet-sounding modern Americana from England"

"A band full of taste and talent, an outfit with a firm grip and grasp of the modern country scene"

Music News Nashville

"Exquisite lyrics" "Whether you try to label it alt folk or Americana or roots, at the end of the day it's a fine album"

COUNTRY MUSIC PEOPLE (4/5****)

"Engaging and uplifting"

"Americana is a deep pool and those seeking a richer sound need look no further than The Rosellys The Granary Sessions"

And a latest video with one of my favorite tracks from the album, “Maryland”, is right here

Meanwhile Case Hardin ‘s 4th studio album, “Colours Simple”, is all set for release on Friday 18th September and you can pre-order both the CD and the premium quality vinyl direct from the website right now.

Watch a great clip of the band talking us through the new record, produced by Chris Clarke (who you’ll know from Danny and The Champs) and featuring some of the brand new songs here

The singe, “Cheap Streaks From A Bottle”, is out right now and has a great video shot by Anthony Wood here

The band have a busy couple of months ahead and are out on the road once more with their first rate show, pick up the dates on their website: casehardin.com

The Dreaming Spires are heading to Nashville as part of the Americana Music Association shindig and flying the flag for the AMA UK - theamauk.org - who were tremendously supportive in helping to arrange the trip. When the boys return they are heading back out on tour to continue the promotion of “Searching For The Supertruth” more dates being added here all the time: thedreamingspires.co.uk

If you are lucky enough to be in Nashville this year be sure to share a beer with our man Del Day from Ark PR and catch Don Gallardo and Cale Tyson who also have showcases throughout the week.

Finally, here’s a short message from Paul McClure….

“The new album is ready to go. I'm not going to do a specific 'tour' as such, there will be gigs before the album comes out and gigs after. I am on my never ending tour.... all the dates are at paulmccluremusic.com

In true McClure 'I'll play anywhere for anyone' style – I can exclusively reveal that his new album will be called 'Songs For Anyone' and will be released

A) before the end of the year...

B) late November

C) pick a date...

You will be able to pre order the new album through October to receive the album ahead of its official launch date and to include an exclusive CD of studio demos, home recordings and live tapes to be called 'The Continuing Adventures Of The Rutland Troubadour - Vol 1' plus bonus postcards and badges.”

So lots to look forward to!

See you soon,
